You can Do it Alums!
***Follow "TexasStudentTv" on Twitter for the latest News!***
Hey Guys!
So we've made it about $7,000! We have a long way to go and we REALLY need the support of our alums.
If you go to our donor page:
http://www.texasstudenttv.com/transmitter_donors.shtmlOur Volunteers and their families are kicking butt! Are you going to let them show you up Alums?
Heh, ok ok that is a little shameless. My board meeting went well, all the board members were impressed but I was told we have to come back with more in raised funds! We spent most of the time talking about laying off The Daily Texan Advisor and other TSM employees which was really awful. We really have to raise a good amount for TSM to pull the trigger.
Please make a donation, Send the Info to your Alum Friends and anyone else you can donate! TAX DEDUCTIBLE!
Thanks for putting up with me guys!

March Board Report Update and Campaign Strategy
***Follow "TexasStudentTv" on Twitter for the latest News!***
I am happy to say that the March board meeting went very well. I feel we met the goals we set for the introduction of the transmitter campaign. A big part of that was the letter packet consisting of the tremendous support I received from our Alumni and Volunteers. You can read it online at WWW.TexasStudentTv.Com. We were given strict requests on what the Board of Directors wants to see in April in order to vote "yes". Some their requests are technical readouts and profit projections that I will be preparing.
Something the board really stressed was coming back in April with more raised funds. We have made so much progress raising almost $6,500 in 2 weeks but we have keep going strong if we are going to convince the board to vote "yes" in April! I've received messages asking why the board doesn't make cuts on others parts of the budget to fund this. The reason this isn't happening is because they approved a $200,000 deficit for the year. That was necessary to (at least temporarily) save the jobs of 3 TSM employees. There really is no room to make any cuts.
We are going to expand our fund raising efforts to companies but we still need to see support from as many Alumni and Volunteers as possible! We have raised more than $700 from around 17 Volunteers and close to $1,000 from their families. This is really great but we have to spread the momentum to every department of TSTV.
We thank those alumni who have donated. We humbly ask that you still forward this information to those who worked with you while you were at TSTV. We need to create a web of information in order to get the word to as many alums as possible. All the information you need to help us raise money and awareness can be found at www.texasstudenttv.com.
Come on Guys. We can get this done but we need to all show our support!
